Earlier today, the exclusive press release was announced and given to the media regarding KCON LA and NY. For once, KCON NY will ACTUALLY  be in New York and not held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey as it has been for the past 4 years now. “KCON New York will take place for the first time in Manhattan with two concerts at the legendary venue Madison Square Garden and a Korean pop culture convention during the day at the Javits Center on July 6th and 7th.”

Finally, we can get the same love and attention as those lucky LA fans, right? With a bigger venue location, fans can expect more Korean food caterers, makeup brands, event booths, stage performances, and other small businesses and K-Pop idol-related activities!

“As KCON NY grows into a larger venue, KCON is getting bigger too. For the first time ever, KCON LA will run for four days (as opposed to three days in the past). This means extended programming and shows to be announced in the coming months. KCON Los Angeles will take place August 15th through the 18th and will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center and STAPLES Center.”
