As anticipated, this year’s KCON NY is evolving into a rookie sensation line up and, honestly, a lot of us are here for it! Now, two hot groups with tons of charisma and charm are gracing the stage at Madison Square Garden!

Fans of the hot and chic ladies known as G-IDLE and the lovely flowers boys of VERIVERY will be happy to know their chance to see these rookie champion groups live is here! KCON NY is boasting a unique roster this time around as the stage is set for other rookie groups such as TXT, EVERGLOW, AB6IX, IZ*ONE, alongside the most (and only) current senior group being NU’EST.

(G)I-DLE is a six-member girl group under Cube Entertainment. The members are Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. The group debuted with their first EP I Am and the lead single “Latata” on May 2nd, 2018. The music video for “Latata” exceeded 5.9 million views within the first week. The EP debuted at number seven and peaked at number five on Billboard’s World Albums chart on May 9th, 2018. On August 14th, the group’s first digital single “Hann (Alone)” was released. Within 24 hours, its music video surpassed 4.9 millions views on YouTube. “Hann” topped domestic music charts including Bugs, Genie and Olleh Music on August 16th and hit a new peak on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart debuting at number two. (G)I-DLE released their second EP I Made and the lead single “Senorita” on February 26th, 2019.

VERIVERY is a seven-member boy group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment in January 2019. The members are DONGHEON, HOYOUNG, MINCHAN, GYEHYEON, YEONHO, YONGSEUNG, and KANGMIN. VERIVERY is Jellyfish Entertainment’s first boy group in seven years since VIXX. Their name comes from the Latin word “VERI” meaning ‘Truth’ and the English word “VERY.” VERIVERY is a combination of the words Various, Energetic, Real and Innovation. The group starred in their own reality show reality show ‘NOW VERIVERY : Real Road Movie’ on Mnet prior to debut. The group officially debuted on January 9th, 2019 with their first EP VERI-US and title track “Ring Ring Ring.” On April 24th, 2019, the group made a comeback with their second EP VERI-ABLE and title track “From Now.”
