With the need for new and innovative ways to connect with audiences around the world during the pandemic, the music industry has completely revolutionized their approach to reaching out to fans online!
Now, thanks to the support of YouTube music, amazing acts and personalities like Wengie and more are coming together to host the amazing extravaganza they coined as ‘Future-Con,’ which will be the first event of its kind hosting a plethora of Asian artists! Wengie had announced the first-ever FutureCon will live-stream exclusively on Wengie Music’s Official YouTube channel!
This event will be co-produced by Danny Lee, Wengie’s music manager and founder of artist management agency, ASIAN AGENT, and Cory Riskin, a global music agent at APA who represents Senpai Squad and several DJs on the line-up. Wengie said, “I’m thrilled to host this event that has never been done before at a time when the world needs laughter and hope! We’ve assembled some great talent who appreciates anime, cosplay, and gaming. For those who love dance music and A-pop (Asian Pop Music) as much as I do, we have some special performances planned that you’d not seen before. More importantly, we will talk about a topic that is close to me which is mental health. I really hope the fans of all these genres will come together to have a fun time and be inspired.”
Future-Con is a digital experience that is the first of its kind, described as an Anime, and Comic-Con meets an electronic dance music festival and A-pop concert. The program will feature the works of anime and cosplay ambassadors, conversations about gaming, multi-genre musical performances, a mental health discussion, and an amateur cosplay contest. It will also celebrate the close of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month!
