I said it before and I will say it again – If you aren’t aware of the death of George Floyd and the Black Live Matter movement evolving into riots occurring in the U.S.A as of now, you’re on the wrong site and I recommend a quick trip to CNN or Google News.
With that said and done, many people across the globe are hearing about the shocking and continuously horrible news emerging from the USA. The news has even made waves in Korea as idols also began to participate by joining in on the movement through their SNS. Each of these idols has actively shared the iconic blacked out square or images regarding protests with pictures of Floyd with the words “I Can’t Breathe” or “Black Lives Matter” written over it, alongside other tasteful photos expressing unity (See below).
See the idols below who showed their support below and click their pictures for a direct link to their posts! Also, if you thought this post was inspiring, check out the rather comical way K-Pop fans protested against protester spy/snitch apps on Twitter with K-Pop Idol Fan Cams!
