What New Things Will K-CON:TACT Change This October? + Artist Lineup Revealed

If you didn’t hear the news already, KCON have announced that they will continue to keep the virtual concert ball rolling as they announced their second season set for this October.

After the 7-day-long extravaganza of live content mixed with some pre-recorded concert footage, K:CON-TACT continued to raise the bar and continue to pique our interest in what K-Pop has to offer in this new virtual reality.

KCON revealed AB6IX, HA SUNG WOON, KARD, LOONA, MAMAMOO, PARK JIHOON, AND SUNMI as the first slate of artists to set to take the stage at KCON:TACT season 2, a first of its kind event delivering its unique experience virtually to living rooms across the planet. Additional artists to be announced in the near future~

KCON:TACT season 2 will grow to 10 days and feature live concerts and meet & greets with dozens of top artists as well as countless hours of behind-scenes content from influences and artists, both live and pre-recorded. Utilizing Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and eXpanded Reality (XR) technology, the event will continue to push the limits of what is possible with virtual entertainment and strengthen the ways fans at home can participate in the show as a live audience.

KCON-ers from all over the world will be able to cheer together at the same time and the programs will provide English subtitles – a much needed necessity! The entire program will be streamed exclusively on Mnet K-Pop and KCON official YouTube channel globally. From artist engagements to fan-meetings and more, all interactive portions of the concert, including direct artist communication, will be available only through the YouTube platform and stream.  So stay tuned for more updates, prices and how you can be a part of this new K-Pop journey!
