BM Announces ‘Broken Me’ Solo Debut, Teasers + Upcoming Interview

KARD is a successful group both in and outside of Korea. With the massive global success of their song “Don’t Recall” back in 2017, member BM embarks on his first solo for “Broken Me” and is the first member to do so!

BM teamed with Park Eun Seok (known as the character Logan Lee from hit 막장 ‘makjang’ drama ‘Pent House’) to create “Broken Me,” an OST for the release of the short film ‘Brave New World.’ The song is not only aesthetically pleasing as it is set in a far-away place but it also offers an edgy and powerful sound track that emphasizes BM’s husky voice, insane vocal + rap skills, as well as tackling the idea of hardships as an artist through his heartfelt lyrics. The song is also fully released in English and expected to gain mass attention globally due to BM’s multilingual abilities.

Check out the teaser below and get a glimpse of what to expect in the near future!

Fans already commented on the wonderful moody aesthetics and enjoyed the many unique settings that BM is featured in. Believe it or not, the mega-tech company Vive Studios, who were responsible for the unforgettable ‘MAMA‘ stage performance for hit sentation BTS, also directed this video! Through VIT, an integrated control solution developed by Vive Studios, they were able to finish filming on seven locations and six different sets, all in a one day shoot at a state-of-the-art studio in Korea. The MV for ‘Broken Me’ (and just like Park Eun Seok’s movie) uses cutting-edge production technology that will absolutely blow fans away.
