If you haven’t heard the words KCON by now, you have been probably living under a rock or simply sleeping on Korean culture. However, the Korean market and coined term ‘Hallyu Wave’ is now taking over the states, too.

The enormous convention becomes a home to K-Pop fans during the short-lived weekends on the East and West Coast. Activities kick off usually in late June at NJ’s Prudential Center and then take a final bow at LA’s Staple Center.

It features a variety of K-Pop idols and talents owning the stage and putting on an unforgettable performance for their overseas fans. There are countless activities throughout the convention as well such as dance competitions, meet and greets, hi-touch (a moment to meet and high five or shake hands with your favorite star), cooking classes, makeup and beauty stations, gift giveaways, photo booths, raffles and tons of Korean food trucks! Then the night ends with a 2-hour performance from featured K-Pop idols!
